Over the weekend, I shared my blog with a group of women who are friends of my mom. All had been married at least once and so I asked the question "What do you think is the one thing that can ruin marriage?" They gave great answers and insight with answers ranging from expectations to lack of respect or trust. Communication, or a lack of, was viewed as a big deal breaker across the board! It made me feel good that my topics were broad enough that women who were seasoned (in their late 40's thru 60's) could sit and talk about relationships openly and candidly the same way that me and my homegirls do. I shared my website with them that night and the next morning, I received this email from one of the ladies:

It was a refreshing pleasure to discuss with you the issues as well as concerns, views, values and belief systems of females and relationships. I know that your blog is God inspired and will be a successful blessing to women all over the world. It is part of the ministry that God has given to you and Lionel. God will also give you speaking engagements and be prepared to have conferences also. This is much needed not only for the body of Christ but for everyone!!!
Use this time that you have to build your blog and do some networking. It will pay off!! You have the connections and the brand, now run with it!!

I was so overwhelmed with emotion! I am a firm believer in purpose and confirmation. It feels amazing to get this kind of message from someone. I am beyond excited to continue to share my thoughts, goals and dreams with anyone who will listen. Thank you to everyone who believes in me!
