Who is Jamillah Davis?

After the birth of my daughter and surviving an unhealthy relationship, I moved me and my 18 month old to Atlanta, Ga in 2011. In 2013, I started PrettyRebelLife in hopes of providing excellent personal assistant and administrative services to entrepreneurs in Atlanta, Ga. Things were going well and I was having tons of fun doing something I love and meeting amazing people along the way. I wasn't completely comfortable leaving my 9-5 as I couldn't imagine not being able to provide for my little girl but I was putting in "late nights and early mornings" to do what I needed to do. To add to my euphoria, I met an amazing man who meshed so easily with my daughter and me. I was in love! He proposed in July of 2014 and even though I was nervous I prayed to God to show me that this man truly loved me the way a husband should. I know that God doesn't give us more than we can bare so I'll say he added to our testimony. On August 14, 2014 while taking my daughter to school, I was hit by a pick-up truck who ran a red light and t-boned my car at 55mph. Me and my daughter's lives were spared along with the unborn angel that was growing in my uterus! :) Pregnancy was hard!!! The accident caused damage that couldnt't be resolved while I was pregnant and a growing baby only made things worse. My doctors would not release me back to work. My fiance stayed by my side the entire time, being more than me or my daughter could have asked for. He even married me 6 months pregnant and in flats in November of 2014! After too many trips to the ER and weekly shots of progesterone, I gave birth to a BEAUTIFUL chocolate baby boy in March of 2015!

It has been a beautiful nightmare. I have learned the meanings of patience, true unconditional love, faith and purpose. I am excited to be entering a new chapter of my life as a stay at home/entrepreneur mom of 2 and a wife. Thank you for allowing me and my family into your day! Hope you enjoy reading and watching as much as we enjoy living it!!
