I LOVE dating my husband!!! Since the accident and the baby right after we haven't done all the things that we talked about doing (We had an entire bucket list!!). But I am grateful that no matter what happens we can take the time away from everything and everyone and focus on each other!!
This is a little personal but we actually had a little arguement on this Friday, a disagreement I should say, about the baby. My bossiness (which I am working on) made him feel that he wasn't needed or that he was doing everything wrong. That is the farthest from the truth and the last thing I want my husband to feel. He is an amazing father to BOTH of OUR children! Gratefully, we have worked hard to perfect our COMMUNICATION with each other. I have learned thru marriage, that talking or resolving a misunderstanding has ALOT to do with saying how and what you feel without fear of being judged or "reprimanded". Each person must learn to listen and NOT JUST HEAR their partners concerns so that the root of the issue is heard and not just the emotion. It takes time and effort but it is SOO worth it!
We literally talked and resolved the misunderstanding, asked my mom (who is a Godsend) to watch the babies and were out the door!! He is truly my best friend and even though everyday isn't perfect LIFE IS SO EASY! After dinner and convo about any and everything, we went to a low key lounge and laughed until our faces hurt!! Moments like these are truly priceless!!!
